Lavender faces the orchard and is our most private unit, complete with its own little lawn and garden. Park in front of the willow tree and let the kids and dogs out to stretch their legs and head for the pool a few steps away. The stoep with its built-in braai is ready for long conversations and card games, or just staring as dusk sifts over the mountains and the owls start calling their mates. Through the lavender door you enter into the lounge area, complete with a Welcome Dover stove and plump leather couch. Books on the shelf tempt you to snuggle down and go no further. But a huge king bed winks from the back (can be split into two singles) and in the separate bedroom the two single beds can be turned into a king. The fully equipped kitchen is waiting for you to turn your locally bought produce into a hearty meal.
